Blog Babes Cruisin’ Down the PCH
It’s been two days now of enjoying the beautiful scenery of the California Coastline. From sunsets to surfer boys, the Pacific Coast Highway has everything to offer and more.
If you’re ever planning on doing this trip, take your time! Trying to rush this drive in merely a day wouldn’t do it justice. After Mike and I stopped to enjoy some lunch by the water, we soon found ourselves overcome with the smell of fish as we drove along the coastline. I had a feeling there was a reason, and after making a U-turn and pulling up to another vista point, we found ourselves amongst the Elephant Seals:
Being the science nerd that he is, Mike’s eyes lit up with excitement upon this random discovery. I was more interested in this little guy… he practically crawled all over me when I brought out the camera. Such a little star this one.
Speaking of stars, I will soon be walking amongst them on Hollywood Blvd as we enter LA. Really looking forward to our Intrepid Urban Adventure called the Stars and Bars tour.

I've been dying to do this roadtrip for sooo long! To take like a week and drive down the PCH stopping in random cities along the way… it would be amazing, sigh. I used to live in Northern Cali; I have fond family memories of driving along the PCH in the winter and stopping at Carmel-by-the-Sea to dip our toes in the ocean. Would love to do it as an adult! SOunds like you had an amazing adventure :)
