Hey Alicia,

We met at TBEX Toronto 2 weeks ago, Love your blog! I am the guy from Toronto who moved to the island of Roatan and started an adventure travel company, and blog about Roatan (<a href="http://roatan.westbaytours.com/" rel="nofollow">roatan.westbaytours.com</a>). Anyways if you are ever around Roatan, Honduras drop me a line. Hopefully we can get you out on some cool tours, Tiny Deserted Islands or on a sailboat. Cheers, you rock!

[...] I openly admit it. The highlight of TBEX for me was hearing both David Whittaker and Andrew Weir of Toronto Tourism say that without the thriving presence of the local Toronto travel blogging community, they could not have brought TBEX to Toronto. Thank you for saying it, it means the world to me and I really appreciate it — especially when Andrew said it to my face, and made it personal, at the height of the rockin’ Toronto Travel Massive pre-BEX party at The Irish Embassy pub. Everything about that night was spectacular, including how hard the folks at the Irish Embassy — and especially Jamie Leitch — worked to make it memorable.
