I love experimenting with photography and have recently starting playing with some cool apps for my iphone. One in particular that I love to use when I travel is called 360 Panorama and the best part is, it’s free!
After recently travelling to Egypt with On the Go Tours, I found the need to shoot panorama’s to show the lack of tourists at these destinations and provide you with a better picture of what I experienced. On the one hand, I feel so lucky to have had these amazing monuments to myself, but on the other I felt a bit sad to see a place with so much history and beauty suffering from a lack of tourism. Nonetheless, here are my favourite panorama moments from Egypt:
Cruising the Nile River by Felucca
Hot Air Ballooning over the Valley of the Kings
Abu Simbel Temple
Luxor Temple at Night
If you’ve ever thought about a trip to Egypt, now is absolutely the time to go. Ever since the revolution occurred, tourism has dropped significantly, but these amazing structures still remain to be admired and there is still so much more to discover. This was truly the trip of a lifetime and right now a tour in Egypt provides great value for your money. My tour guide Haytham from On the Go Tours was absolutely incredible and the entire structure of the tour was well organized, and well executed, providing a good balance between sightseeing and free time.
Not once did I ever feel unsafe or in danger. So please do yourself a favour and take the media you see about Egypt with a grain of salt. I promise to prove to you all the amazing things you can experience in Egypt through my next few videos, so stay tuned for those and feel free to leave a comment or question below. I’m always happy to answer them.
