I’m Going to India!
India has always been on my bucket list and it’s been my dream to stand in front of the Taj Mahal ever since I was a little girl.

My friend Nicole gave me this beautiful painting that her grandfather made years ago and it’s come with me to various apartments that I’ve moved to here in Toronto.
About 6 months ago I pulled it out of the back of my storage closet and hung it in my bathroom with only the dream of someday going there. If you told me I would actually be living that dream within the same year, I would have told you to get real.
Thanks to the amazing people at Gap Adventures and the incredible company I work for at Flight Centre Canada, I’ll be on a plane to Delhi in early October to experience incredible India and blog about the experience.
I’ll get a taste of the Golden Triangle which will introduce me to three very different Northern cities and the colourful rural life of Rajasthan. As someone who loves her photography, I’ve been told that this tour will not disappoint.

To get prepared for my trip, I’m going to video blog my experience at the Masala! Mehndi! Masti! (Spice! Henna! Fun!) festival here in Toronto and sit down with the amazing India guru herself, Mariellen Ward who runs a blog called Breathe Dream Go.
Follow the journey here on my blog and join me as I cross off a monumental bucket list item.

I love love your new site and blog. It’s cool, clean, calm and enchanting. I can’t wait to watch it populated with words and images from India. So exciting. You will really know what I mean …
Thank you so much Mariellen! It took me a while to get here, but now that I’ve arrived I feel refreshed, renewed and ready for a new experience. So happy that India will be the place of new beginnings :)
