True North Strong and Free
There are so many amazing ways to spend Canada Day in my home and native land; but in my opinion, nothing really beats escaping the city life for some cottage time with the family. It’s amazing what some quality sleep, sunshine and food can do for the soul.
I finally have a chance to sit down and catch up on my blogs and video editing with the perfect backdrop you could really ask for. I’ve been feeling super overwhelmed lately with tons of projects on my plate, so taking this trip up north has allowed me to catch my breathe again and get a better perspective on things.
I wish this was my office view everyday. I reckon I would be much more productive with such an inspiring setting. Plus a little Vitamin D everyday couldn’t hurt ;)
Looking back at this past year I’ve been fortunate to explore this beautiful country and some of my highlights included:
-Eating fresh lobster in Nova Scotia
-Road Trippin’ to Peggy’s Cove
-Exploring Ottawa for the first time
-Riding the Powder Highway in BC
(the Kootenay rockies are absolutely stunning) -check out my video

-Drinking Fresh Apple Juice at the Delta Okanagan in Kelowna
-Eating my way through Gas Town in Vancouver
My next Canadian adventure will take place this summer camping and white water rafting in Ottawa with OWL Rafting. I’m super excited since I’ve never been white water rafting before and will definitely document the experience with the GoPro!
