Two Wheels and a Country Road

One of my favourite things to do in the summer is to head north to the ‘Cottaggio’ taking in the fresh outdoors on two wheels. This weekend however, I knew it would be my last time riding these country roads in the summer (I can already feel a chill in the air that Autumn is arriving) so I embraced every last bit of it while I could…

Aside from the great exercise, there is nothing quite like an open road, the fresh smell of summer and the crunching sound my tires make as they ride through the pebbles and sand.

At the end of this road, is a quiet and secluded area with rocks and the sweet sounding waves of Georgian Bay; the perfect place to sit and reflect with an ipod before heading back on the road.

My uncle and I enjoyed a good hour here doing some yoga stretches, taking some photos and spending a little one-on-one time with mother nature.

I had a lot of time to reflect and clear my mind before heading back to the city. I already feel refreshed, renewed and ready to say goodbye to summer and welcome Autumn with open arms. In one month I’ll be heading to India and I don’t think it could have come at a better time in my life. The countdown has officially begun…

Namaste.
